Christmas Decorating

So, after church last night, Chris and Lauren and Tay, and Mike came over, and we all decorated the tree, and had hot chocolate, and hot apple cider. It was so much fun. I don't think I've ever had so much fun decorating a tree. :o) So, anyways, here are a couple of pictures from that. :o)

So cute. :o)

this was the best picture out of the group of them. :o)

our dysfunctional family trying to take a picture. :o) I had to put it on here, because it was just funny.

The SUPER Happy Couple :o)
And Some Pictures of our Table That he did a fabulous job of putting together. :o)

This is what he had the waiter bring me when we were done with dinner, and Mike said that we were ready for "dessert". :o)

So, there are some pictures for you guys for now. I'm meeting Mike and my mom at Zales on lunch to send my ring in for sizing. I don't want to part with it. :o( Anyways, when I meet them, Mike is supposed to be giving me a CD with all the pictures from his camera too. So, you guys will get some of us sitting at the table together too. :o)
Anyways, here's the story of how it happened. :o)
My parents told me that we were having a "family dinner" on Saturday. They bought me a new dress and everything. Mom and Lauren got new dresses too. So, we all get dressed up super fancy, and head out to Pikes. Well, when we get there, we were standing in the entry way, and I look up, and Mike is standing there with my parents. He was in a tux. I was like, "Um, ok. Oh my goodness, what's going on?" So, my parents walk Mike and I down to our table, and it's a table set up for two, that Mike did himself, and there's a vase of flowers on it, candles, and flower petals all over it. It was beautiful. So, Mike seated me, then my mom kissed my cheek, and told me to have fun. Well, she came back a couple seconds later to get some pictures. Then my whole family left and went to Chili's to eat. :o) Well, Mike and I ate our dinner, and then the waiter came and asked if we were ready for dessert, and Mike said yes. So, he came back out with the flower arrangement, with my ring box in the middle of it. So, Mike reached across the table, and grabbed the box, then got up, stood in front of me, got down on one knee, and said, "Kassandra Bailey, will you marry me?" and of course, I said, "Yes." :o) It was a perfect proposal, and I could not have asked for anything better.
So, anyways, there are some pictures on Mike's camera, of us sitting at the table, so you can see how the table was set up and everything. It was beautiful. So perfect. :o) Well, there you have it, I'm getting married! :o) Love you guys!

Nothing Exciting

So, I'm being bullied to post something, so here it is. ;o)

Nothing has been going on really. My weekend was pretty much uneventful. Monday night I made dinner. It was supposed to be enchilada casserole, but I think it turned out to be more like enchilada soup. :o) It was still good though. Last night, I went shopping with my mom. We had a pretty good time. I finally got all my Christmas shopping done. Well, for the family anyways. I'm gonna get my friends' stuff in Texas when I go, in 2 weeks, and 3 days! :o) I'm very excited. I just miss my cousins so much! I can't wait see them, and the rest of my family. :o) My cousin Hunter graduated boot camp in Georgia on Friday, December 7th. He's home now for a while, until January 4th, I believe. So, I will get to see him for a few days while I'm there. I'm really happy about that. He's the cousin that is closest in age to me (5 weeks younger) and we're pretty close, so I can't imagine going down there and not seeing him. When he leaves Texas again, he'll be going to Airman School, I believe, for the Rangers. Please keep him in your prayers. It would worry me to death to have him over in Iraq. I know that it is all in God's hands though.

So, this Friday is our Christmas party for work. It's at Wedgwood. I'm looking forward to it. It will at least be interesting, I'm sure. I'll probably be sitting with David and Eleanore (the people who's adorable children I babysit). :o) So, I guess that could be a post for next week. I'll tell you all how the party went. I didn't go last year, because I was in Texas, so I'm not exactly sure what to expect. We shall see though.

Well, ok, that's about all that's going on in my life right now. :o) Hope you all are having a good week!

Here it is

Well, people have been saying that I need to post, so here it is. :o) Nothing much has been going on. Just working and stuff. We made it through inventory last Friday. I had to be at work at 6:00 in the morning. That was fun. :o) No, it really wasn't too bad. I was actually pretty bright and chipper. :o) It was being at work at 6:30 on Saturday that was the hard one. I was definitely tired. I worked until about 1:00, so it wasn't too bad. And I definitely won't be complaining when I get my paycheck on Friday, and I've got all that overtime. :o) So, that was Friday, and part of Saturday. The rest of the afternoon on Saturday, I didn't really do a whole lot. Sat around waiting for mom to get off work. Dad and Lucas had gone caribou hunting, so mom and I were going to watch a movie together that evening, but dad and Lucas got home before mom got off work, so that ruined that. :o) Anyways, I didn't really do much else the rest of the night. Hmmm, Sunday, I came home from church, and cleaned the kitchen, then cooked lunch (grilled steak, and baked sweet potatoes, yummy!) and then I worked on my quilt a little bit. That is taking forever. :o) anyways, after church Sunday night, I went home, and changed into some old clothes, and voluntarily went out into the garage to help cut up caribou without being asked to. :o) Sorry, but I'm proud of myself. I hate cutting up meat. :o) It was gross, but we got a bit done.

So, there you have it people. That was my weekend. Nothin too exciting. :o) I hope you all are having a fabulous day. :o) Love you!

Team Spirit

So, the Cowboys play the Packers tomorrow, and we have kind of a rivalry going on with it at work. One of the guys in paint, "Q" is a big Packers fan, while Rhoni is a big Cowboys fan. So, Rhoni brought in a few of her Cowboys shirts and sweaters, and so the whole design center is wearing Cowboys stuff. The game isn't until tomorrow, but Q won't be here then, so we had to do it today. My shirt does say COWBOYS on it, but the shirt is white and the letters are light blue so it's kind of hard to tell. :o) Anyways, just wanted to share the picture. :o)
