Birthday Baloons

Tori, being the sweetheart she is, got me baloons for my birthday. :o) So, I wanted to share them with everyone else. :o) Some of the pictures might not look that great, but they were taken with a cell phone. :o) Enjoy, I sure have. :o) Love you Tori!

Old

Well, folks, I'm getting old. Today is my 19th birthday. :o) I guess I could legally buy cigarettes now if I wanted to, but TRUST ME, I don't. :o) I can't stand cigarettes, anyways, we won't go there. :o) It was a pretty good birthday. Mom made this ginormous cake that we took to birthday Sunday, and they lit candles, and sang, and embarrassed the tar outta me, but it was fun. :o) Mom and dad got me this really cute Burton zip up sweater. It's a white, really nice knit sweater. I love it. :o) And Lucas got me this awesome white Burton T-shirt, with this big Burton Logo on the front of it. So cool. So, now, with my new pants, and my t-shirt, and my sweater, I am TOTALLY ready to go snowboarding! :o) Well... I guess we do need a little more snow before I can do that, but as soon as we get about another foot (we already have 6-8 inches) THEN I will be ready to go. :o) *Please send some more snow Lord!* :o) Anyways, Eleanore (the lady I babysit for) bought me a really cute new purse. I was super happy about that one. I've really needed a new one here lately, so it was all in perfect timing. :o) Jeremy Everheart got me a gift card for Barne's and Noble. I'll have to be wise, and get something really good with that. I love that store. And brother Gerth got me this book called, The Little Baptist. I just finished a book, so I'm looking forward to starting on that. :o) I'm just so thankful that I am where I am in my life, and I thank the Lord for bringing me to my church, and giving me my church family. I love them all, even the friends that I'm not as close to anymore. They're all special to me, and I know that I am where God wants me to be. And I thank him for allowing me to be on this earth for this long, and I pray I will remain here a while longer. We've had a few fatal car accidents on the roads around here recently, and it just helps you to remember how soon it could all be over. It helps to remind us to enjoy the time we have, and use it to serve the Lord, and cherish each moment, and not sweat the small stuff, and to love the people you have around you, and make sure they know it. So, I Love You all! There, now you know it, and you can't say I never told you. :o)

Alright, have a great night guys. :o)

Oh, here are a couple of pictures of my new Burton stuff. :o)

Mine is actually white, but Burton's website only showed it in green. :o)

Again, mine is white. Super Duper cute. :o)
Ok, now, I'm gonna get ready for bed. :o) Good night!

For My Friend

Since I can't tell her in person...

For All The Times
For all the times you made me laugh, thank you.
For all the times you held my hand, thank you.
For all the times you smiled at me, thank you.
For all the times you listened, thank you.
For all the times you prayed for me, thank you.
For all the times you encouraged me, thank you.
For all the times you hugged me, thank you.
For all the times you shared a part of yourself with me, thank you.
For all the times you trusted me, thank you.
For all the times you complimented me, thank you.
For all the times you said "I love you", thank you.
For all the times you thought of me, thank you.
For all the times you were there when I needed you, thank you.
For all the times you missed me, thank you.
For all the times you gave me comfort, thank you.
For all of this:
Never forget that when I smile at you, I'm saying "I love you. "
Never forget that my hand is always outstretched toward you.
Never forget that I am always here to listen to you.
Never forget that I will always stand behind you.
Never forget that you need only ask, and it's yours.
Never forget that I want to spend time with you.
Never forget that I do love you, whether I say it or not.
Never forget that I'm thinking of you.
Never forget that I am always here for you.
Never forget that I miss you too.
She knows who she is. :o)
No, I didn't write it myself, by the way. :o) I stole it from someone else, and changed it around a little.

A Good Day

SO, GUESS WHAT? I finally bought me some brand new Burton snowboarding pants! YAY!!! :o) I'm so excited. I love them. In fact, I'm wearing them even as I sit here and type. :o) I'm a dork, I know, but what can I say? I have a few pictures, but in all fairness, I will warn you ahead of time, they're horrible, and the pants look WAY better in real life. They're awesome. :o) Now I just need a new Burton hoodie and I'll be all set. :o) Anyways, here are the pictures. Enjoy.... :o)

You've gotta love the suspenders. :o) I feel like an old man. :o)

"Burton Supastar!" *sigh* if only in my dreams... :o)

Anyways, my day went pretty good today. Just glad it's Friday. :o) And it was payday (hence the pants) so that's always super nice. I guess I didn't really tell you guys on here but.... last Wednesday, October 3, I mailed in my very last truck payment!!! YAY! Oh my goodness, it felt so good to do that. My loan was for three years, but I got it paid off in 12 months. Sorry, but I'm pretty proud of myself. :o) I am a slave to debt no longer! I am financially independent! I am free from my bondage! :o) Sorry, I get a little carried away sometimes. Anyways, I think the check went through either today or yesterday (I had to mail it to Texas) so I should be receiving the title in the mail soon. It's just so good to know that I own my truck now. I never could have done it without the Lord's help though. It was only by his grace that things worked out the way they did, and that I was able to make much larger payments each month than I needed to. I am so thankful that He provided me with my income, and that nothing major ever really came up that I had to miss a payment or anything. So, anyways, that wasn't really how I wanted to share that exciting news, but there you have it. :o)

I also went and got my very first ever massage today. That was nice. I had horrible knots in my shoulders that she really worked out. It hurt pretty bad when she was doing it, but my back feels pretty good now. She even said that the pressure she was using to get those knots out was pretty intense, so I guess they were pretty bad. Anyways, I'll definitely go back to her, she was really good, really nice, and not too weird. :o) I think her name was Heidi or something like that, but I can't remember. Is that bad? :o)

So, yep. It was a good day: A paycheck, a massage, and a new pair of Burton snowpants, what more could a girl want? Well... I could think of a few things, but we won't go there. :o) It could be quite a long night if we did. :o) Ok, I'm gonna go now. You all have a fantabulous night now, ya hear? :o) Love you all! Good night,
Kassandra

Well, here are some pictures of the BBQ that we had a Phil and Jenn's a few weeks ago, that I have been meaning to post. Sorry they're late! It was a lof of fun to just go hang out with all the church people like that. We should really do it more often.... :o) Anyways, here they are. Talk to you guys later! :o)

The Rock That Brought Down The Mountain...

Okay, so my truck isn't a mountain, and no, technically the rock didn't completely disable it, but I think you get the idea. :o) Anyways, here are some pictures of the rock that went into my tire. It was huge! I thought it was kinda cool anyways. :o) Dan (the guy mentioned in the previous story told of the initial tire issue) said that it looked like someone could have used it for an arrow-head back in the day. I have to say, I agree. :o) Anyways, enjoy. :o)

This was all I could see poking out of my tire when mom got home. (that's the bottom) Nice.
